Join us for a round of golf followed by a German Beer fest, all while contributing to the local community.
The focus of our efforts is on the uplifting of the youth, caring for the environment and assisting in local conservation and also supporting the SAPS, municipalities and various other organizations.
So get into the spirit and dress up for your 4 ball for a fabulous prize!
The Sunshine Coast Community stretches from Port Elizabeth through to East London, in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. The journey began when Susan Dovey and Angela Kaplan, the founders, voluntarily donated books to one of the local schools on the Sunshine Coast. The Periwinkle charity has raised well over R1, 6 million rand in the last nine years.
The golf day has become a regular event on the golfing calendar and through the incredible generosity of the holidaymakers and locals, we have raised close to one and a half million rand. All the funds we receive are managed and controlled by local Attorneys; Neave Stotter & Associates (Port Alfred).
Supporting the impoverished local community and the environment of the Sunshine Coast is, we believe, an on-going annual commitment. We are therefore appealing to organizations and individuals that we know share the same concerns for the youth of our country, to contribute to this very worthy cause.
